Soar in the vast expanse of sky
Of nothing more the moon is shy
Peeking behind the heart it smiled
Surging desires are now relaxed
Hovering over the parched soul
Galloping steps twirled the fold

Participating in OctPoWriMo 2020
Today we were given word prompts Desire, Steps, Drive with the poetry format of Con-Verse, Monotetra.
I chose Con-verse it was created by Connie Marcum Wong, consists of three or more
2-line rhyming stanzas (couplets). The meter of this form is in syllabic verse.
Rhyme scheme: aa,bb,cc,dd,ee
Meter: 7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,11,11
Desires are manna for parched souls! Well said.
