Vacant thoughts engulf me
on a solitary spring morning
mesmerizing with its beauty..
gleeful chirping birds
making home on trees
shepherds are busy
stalking their herd
squirrels are jumping
merrily - tree to tree
tiny skillful ants
trespassing my backyard
marigold is in full bloom
emitting fragrance all around
shining smiling sun is
enveloping the ground.
