Senses

Off-springs of a single seed

Forming exuberant collection

Ongoing progression

Ushers new lives

Reflecting the warmth

Delving deep into

Neurons

Accumulates vitality

Exhilarated

Hauz khas 2014

Trapped inside the work stations

With pictures of valleys and mountains

Leaving behind machines and files

Stepped out in the garden

Exhilarated

With great satisfaction

Felt the earth beneath the feet

Soothing greens around

Sent relaxing vibrations

Embedded consciousness

Sprouted from the parched depth

Divine feel of naked skin against

The dew bathed grass

Fragmenting the greys

Surging sunshine radiated

The insides

Aha! So this is what

We call Heaven!

कल्पना की उड़ान

सुरमई अँखियों ने 

अरमानों के पंख लगा 

कल्पना की ऊंची उड़ान ली है 

सतरंगी इन्द्रधनुष पे झूलती 

बादलों को चूमती है 

धुंद में मुस्कराती सुर्ख 

गुलाब की पंखुड़ी हँसी है

रेशमी बादलों पे हो सवार 

घरोंदे की ख्वाइश की है 

सर्द हवा में ठिठुरती सी 

ठंडी आह भरी है 

पत्तियों पे फिसलती ओस 

मोती सी चमकी है 

गुलाबी होठों पे लहराती हँसी 

कोयल सी कुहुकी है 

कल्पना की उड़ान में उड़ती 

मीठे सपने नयनो में सजाती 

खुद अपनी ही बाँहों में सिमटी है

रेत और समन्दर

२०१२ की एक शाम 

दूर तक फ़ैली है तनहाई 

समंदर में लिपटी हुई 

ओड़ चांदनी की चुनरिया 

चाँद को बाहों में समाय 

मंद मंद मुस्काती 

कुछ शर्माती कुछ लज्जाती 

तोड़ तनहाई की दीवार 

नमक सी मिली समन्दर में  

रेत के घरोंदे में 

बसाई  अपनी प्रेम की दुनिया 

निर्लज उफनती लहर 

बहा ले गई सुन्दर 

सपनो का महल.. 

लहरों के शोर में 

समाया तनहाई का स्वर 

आँखों का नमक जा मिला 

नमकीन समन्दर से 

उसे तब कुछ और नमकीन कर गया 

रेत पर बिखरे कदमो के फीके निशान 

हर लहर के साथ 

कुछ और फीके हो गए 

क्षितिज पे गहराता लाल आसमां 

तारों को समेटे जा रहा है 

चांदनी में नहाईं किनारे की रेत 

कुछ नयी चमक सजाय है।
