Daily Diary 6

….Part 2 #CoronaKaRona #KahaniDurbar #DailyDiary 6

One fine spring afternoon, while I was enjoying the greens and smiling flowers, in my garden, I was mesmerized with the buzzing sound of bees and butterflies. One butterfly rested on my hair and the bee buzzed on my flowery dress.

(Bhanwara bada nadaan hai……)

Interrupting me - A dog came crying and knocked on my gate. I was in a dilemma, to welcome it inside or not. This Lock-down and Isolation situation has blocked my brain and the capability to be social or not (to be or not to be- That is the question). After all this is the time of Social-Distancing.

Since a kind hearted person I could not see the tears of the poor dog. So I called him inside and gave him milk and bread. But he refused to eat(no value for my feelings…sob…sob!). He said what will he do by eating? (Hainnnn… Matlab????)

“Why my dear? What is making you so sad? We all must eat to stay fit and alive. Isn’t it?”

“Bohoooo!” He howled again. His eyes started watering and then suddenly a wave of tears crashed on my feet (charansparsh  nahin kar raha tha balki apne aansoon ki ganga jamna me nehla raha tha). Now he was crying inconsolably.

“Oh, Dear! Come and share your pain” I hugged him.

“Tell me what is wrong with you humans these days? Why are you not rushing everywhere, every time? Why are you suddenly behaving as if you all are dead? Why can’t you see US happy? “ He stuttered all at one go.

“Wait a second. What did you say? Why can’t we see you happy? Of course we all love you. Aren’t we all feed you?” I was surprised at his rant.

‘Tadap..Tadap ke iss dil se .. aah nikalti rahi..’

“Yes you all feed us. But what is the point of having food and no fun at all. We are not able to digest our food as there are no Cars on the road to chase. The roads are deserted. At whom should we bark at? There are so many cars everywhere to pee -that was fun, but now even that is NO fun - nobody comes to scare or beat us. Bohoooooooo!”

‘Dil ka haal kahe ye (Bhounkanewaala) koi na iska dard samajnewaala’

Daily Diary 4

Amidst the so called holiday (self Quarantined) mode I woke up to a beautiful morning. Trees danced with gentle zephyr, swirling yellowed leaves tiptoed whistling and smiling on the earth.

Sweet chirpings enveloped the arena happily smiling and singing fluttered from one flower to the other. Pregnant clouds hovered above dulling the sun sending soothing sensations.

I perched myself on my garden swing with a soothing mug of hot coffee and found a sense of overwhelming happiness. Hubby and daughter joined me with their mugs. My eyes met them and we all smiled.

A genuine, happy, carefree smile.
What is more my heart can ask for?

Life is so very simple
Some free time and a smile
Simple things make life worthwhile
Fragrant clean air with
Rain washed happy greens
Birds in their nest
Chirping and tweeting
A content heart
Enjoy it from the start!

Daily Diary 3

One fine spring afternoon, from my dining room, I was feasting my eyes on the various colours and fragrance of the flowery beauties right across my window. I was overwhelmed with Almighty’s grace on us for providing with so many feasts for our soul.

Suddenly, I noticed from the keyhole of the main door their came striding a buzzing yellow bee. It felt as if she was happy to complete her quest to enter my home. She happily buzzed all around.

Lusciously she sucked the nectar from the blue orchids adorning my dining table. When she was full she happily checked all the furniture and walls. She felt at peace inside. But then she gazed out from the window and started banging on the glass pane to reach the other side. Her keyhole entry was lost in the quest to inspect things there. Now, she was jittery as she knew she has to be out in the garden as that is the place where she belongs. The 10 day old orchid inside was simply an illusion which lured and captivated her for some time, but her soul could only be happy outside.

I was compelled to do something for her and so I set her free by opening the door and letting her smell and feel the fresh air full of fragrance of flowers all around.

What if her coming inside was a message for me in some way? What if she wanted to tell me that I have entered in this world through the keyhole and now lost in the world hovering over fake or stale flowers/happiness when the ‘Real’ happiness lies just outside the window. The world is small and petty as compared to the outside which is vast and never ending. It is full of fresh flowers waiting for me to suck their nectar. I am trapped inside. When will my gates open? And by whom ?
Hello! Anyone listening ? I need to open my wings and scale the heights of this vast nebula of nothingness.

Daily Diary 1

Mrs Perfect(ME) was in a hurry as like always when she was late her maid decides to give her a surprise holiday. So with the lack of time she wore her magic cape and turned into a Super-PowerPacked woman working and finishing the household chores at a Super Sonic speed.
She patted her back for actually completing all the work and had time to bathe and wash her hair. But as you all are aware when you are late the Universe conspires against you and brings more challenges into your life.
Ahaa! So this was no special day. The bottle full of ‘Amma ka laad bhara aam ke achaar ki bottle’ went crashing on the floor with thousands of sparkling tiny diamonds glistening and smiling at her from the freshly mopped floor.

Pheww! Oh! Not now..Arghhh!

Back with a broom and mop picking those diamonds smirking at her and putting them in the bin along with ‘Maa ka pyaar bhara achaar’
Bohooohooo!

Finally, it was time for a bath. Now no time for a leisure bath but had to be real quick with those long tresses to be washed as they were meticulously oiled the night before giving the most (un)desirable flat gelled (un)model like look. Baah! how do these models carry so much of gel on their hair and look prettiest.  I look like a cat out of water (or is it a fish out of water ?? - whatever)

Well no time for all these fancy ‘gyaan bhari baatein’ it was time for a quick fastest possible bath. Accomplishing that too with a supersonic speed now was the time to moisturize the skin which itched when not treated well.
Ahaan… cannot take any risks today as had an important meeting with the client. Mrs Perfect quickly pressed the nozzle of the big bottle standing tall on her basin. After generously applying on hands and leg the horror of another blunder hit her blocking all the air as if being punched in the stomach. Damn.. it was not a dollop of moisturizer resting on her hands and legs but it was hand wash beaming with satisfaction of finally touching the areas never explored before, standing mischievously right beside the moisturizer.

Well!! It was an accomplishment for completing another bath and reaching office just in time.
Ahaa........! what a blissful fulfilling energetic workaholic morning it was.

STORY - Life Lesson

Enveloped in my own world I was walking on the sandy pastures of that huge field. A room full of swirling thoughts stirring inside my head.
For some unknown reason today the sky was full of eagles. But, that did not hinder me from walking away from my home. Somehow as always, I managed to get my foot hooked onto something and with a loud thud I fell down.

It was a nasty fall as I was able to taste metal. Yes! There was blood in my mouth, my tongue got a cut.
"Good for me! Maybe this was the punishment I deserved for all the thoughts I was having. For what? Is it worth polluting my mind with such petty things. The world is full of many other important things to think about"
I had zillion things buzzing inside my head all at one go and meanwhile my hand was busy tugging at a small flag poking out of the ground.

'What is this flag doing in the middle of nowhere?' By now my eyes and focus shifted to a small bright orange flag mocking at me secured deeply in the sand near a small bush. "Ah! so this is the reason which made me see stars on this bright sunny day." Angrily i started digging around the flag to pull it out.

Surprisingly! the more I tried to pull it out the more deeper it felt. After working for sometime I managed to pull it out. 'Wait!  What is that bottle tied to it?' with a child like curiosity, my mind started thinking about the Genie in a bottle. Sheepishly grinning, without wasting another moment I opened its cap, waiting for a genie to appear.

Well! Genies and fairies are merely fairy-tales. Aren't they? Along with some dry sand pop came a piece of paper from inside.
'Ah! so this must be some message from heaven for me.' my childish mind was not ready to accept any kind of defeat.

I quickly opened it and read what was written. And for a moment I found everything spin around me and my face was smeared with saline all at once. There were only five words written "Come Home! I LOVE YOU" they were written for whom or when did not matter. Right now those words meant a lot to me. Yes! they were sent from Heaven for me.

Laughing and crying I turned and rushed back HOME.

Nature wept and the wind whispered truth
The venomous haze around the skyscrapers
Choked the insides of every soul

Taking refuge behind the thick cover
