Comprehending

Let me pluck flowers of

Each and every possible

Color from The Garden of Life

To adorn the Lotus feet

Of Faith and Light

Let me shower the

Crown of My Persona

With loads and loads

Of oozing thoughts

And bathe in its purity

Let me garnish my

Parched being

With elegant aroma

Of truthfulness

And immerse in it.

सुकून

झिलमिल चमकती चांदनी और 

उसके आगोश में सिमटता अँधियारा 

खूबसूरती बढ़ाता गर्व से इतराता 

मंद-मंद मुस्कराता 

चाँद ने भी शरमा के खोला अपना राज़ 

मेहफ़ूज़ हो छेड़ा सुरीला साज़ 

चाँद चाँदनी और अंधियारे की देख अजब दोस्ती 

संसार ने उन्हें अपना हमराज़ बनाया 

"उनके होने  के एहसास में मिलता है दिल को सुकून 

उनके ना होने का ख़याल भी दिल में न बसाना "

शुभकामनाएं

ज़िन्दगी के कोने कोने में छिपी अनेक मासूम खुशियां 

ढूंड़ -ढूंड कर जीवन की माला में है पिरोना 

खुशियों के दामन में भरी हैं चंचल मुस्कराहट 

उन्हें अधरों पे उतार दिल में है बसाना 

मुस्कराहट के सीने में धड़कती है ज़िन्दगी 

मधुर गूँज में उसकी जीवन है बिताना।

Coffee Shop

Sitting in a Coffee Shop

Looking no where 

Immersed in hot sips

And cool thoughts

Wondering about moments

Some happy some sad

Listening to the sounds

Of Footsteps moving around

Creating some kind of strange

Melodious chant

Some rushing some dragging

Some jumping some pleased

Watching the swirls of ice

Clinking in the cup

On the other table

Merging with my cup vapors

Trying to blend-in

Some are wavy some cheery

यकीन

खूबसूरत कुदरत

किसी ने न देखा 
खुदा को 
जब भी आईना में 
देखा खुद को 
उस पे यकीन हुआ 

किसी ने न सुना 
पंखुड़ी को खिलते 
जब भी फूल को 
देखा लहराते 
महसूस करा उस आवाज़ को 

कभी न समझा 
करिश्मा को 
जब भी सूरज उगते देखा 
रात को नकारा 
करा विश्वास ज़िन्दगी में 

कभी न देखा 
हवा को बहते 
जब भी होंठो पे तेरे 
बिखरी मुस्कराहट 
मुहब्बत समेटी आगोश में

दुआ

गुडगाँव २०१४ 

पलकें उठा के जो देखा 

सूरज ने चेहरा छुपाया 

ओढ़ बादल का आँचल 

लाज से वो शरमाया 

. 

. 

. 

होठों पे जो बिखेरी मुस्कान 

फूलों ने पंखुड़ी खोली 

भवरों ने की अठखेलीयां 

बाग़ फिर खिलखिलाया  

. 

. 

. 

ज़मीन पे जब रखा कदम 

हरियाली सकुचाती सी लहराई 

गिलहरियां भी मुस्काई 

तितलियाँ अलमस्त हो फरफराई 

. 

. 

. 

हाथ का कंगन जब खनका 

चिड़ियाँ भूल चहचहाना 

हो गई शांत 

जा छिपी टहनियों में 

. 

. 

. 

मुखड़ा दमकता देख 

चाँद को भी हुआ रश्क़ 

सितारों को भेज ज़मीन पे 

चमकाया उसका आँचल 

. 

. 

. 

ऐ ख़ुदा ! रेहमत कर 

ज़माने की सारी खुशियां 

उसके दामन में भर 

उसका जीवन उज्जवल कर।
